Battle on the Dam Rescheduled
The second Walk Across the Lake Murray Dam has been rescheduled due to threat of inclement weather.
This year's Battle on the Dam, an annual walk across the Lake Murray Dam to encourage active lifestyles, has been rescheduled due to possible inclement weather on Saturday.
The District Five Foundation for Educational Excellence has postponed the Battle on the Dam walk until Saturday, March 31. The walk was supposed to happen Saturday.
According to the National Weather Service, showers and thunderstorms are expected before 1 p.m., then showers and possibly a thunderstorm, mainly after 1pm.

More details about the rescheduled event will be sent to schools, according to Lexington-Richland 5.
