Bike Rally to Benefit Honor Flight

The Lexington County Sheriff's Department will hold its 4th motorcycle benefit for Honor Flight of South Carolina this Saturday.

The Lexington County Sheriff’s Department 4th Annual Motorcycle Benefit Ride for Honor Flight of South Carolina will be held this Saturday in Chapin.

Registration for the event begins at 10 a.m. at S&S Road Consultants, Inc., 930 Chapin Road, Chapin.

Bikers will leave at noon and return no later than 4 p.m. Motorcyclists will ride in areas near Lake Murray.

The cost is $25 per motorcycle rider and $15 per motorcycle passenger.

All proceeds from the event will benefit Honor Flight South Carolina, which provides airline and ground transportation for World War II military veterans to visit military memorials in Washington, D.C.
