Boil Water Alert: Brandywine, Quail Valley East, Beaver Dam & Railfence
Residents are advised to boil water for one minute before use.

A water boil advisory has been issued for residents in the Harbison area after an 8-inch water line break, which could possibly result in bacterial contamination of the water.
Customers of Brandywine Drive, Quail Valley East from Brandywine Drive to Quail Valley West, Quail Valley West from Deer Trail to Quail Valley East, Beaver Dam Road from Deer Trail to Railfence Drive, and Railfence Drive, located in Lexington County, should boil their water for at least one minute before drinking and cooking, according to a Columbia Water Works release.
Ice made from water that has not been boiled should not be used.

Any residents near the affected area who have lost water and/or water pressure are also advised to boil their water prior to use.
