Calling All Artists: Submit Your Work for unearth 2012

Saluda Shoals Park is looking for artists of all kinds to participate in this year's unearth, a celebration of naturally inspired art.

A independent panel of judges select a group of artists from entries received by June 1 to participate in the event.

There's no limit on artistic expressions. Any of the following are included:

• Art demonstrations, interpretation or installation
• Art workshops
• Musical or dance performances
• Earth art

The celebration has featured art demonstrations and instruction, poetry readings, musical and dance performances and more.

To be consider, artists should submit an application and three digital images of work.

Those selected for the event will receive a stipend to help cover costs for his or her participation.

Artists will be selected by the panel of judges by June 22 and artists will be notified of the selections by July 1.  

The celebration is scheduled for Oct. 7.
