Update: 73-year-old Arrested After Crashing Into Bar
Area restaurant damaged by car crash; no serious injuries reported.
A 73-year-old woman was charged with drunk driving after she drove her car into Thursday night.
Ellon Williams of Columbia accidentally crashed her 1989 Mercedes sedan through two large windows at the bar, located at 3636 Bush River Road, according to a report in The State.
About 30 people were inside the building when the crash happened around 10:15 p.m., according to WIS, but there were no serious injuries.

The windows of the bar are covered with plywood until the owners can make repairs. According to WIS, the owners do plan to re-open.
