Report: Chapin to Pay $30,000 Settlement to Former Police Chief
The agreement was reached after Former Chapin Police Chief David Rogers filed a lawsuit against the town and its clerk.

The Town of Chapin will pay $30,000 to former Police Chief David Rogers as a settlement in a lawsuit, according to a report from The State.
Rodgers filed a lawsuit against the town and its clerk in December of last year saying town officials falsely accused him of misconduct with young girls and of taking $5,000 from the town.
Town officials didn't admit to any wrongdoing in agreeing to the payment, according to The State.
