Columbia Man Charged in Motor Vehicle Break-ins
Deputies arrested a 22-year-old man who they say broke into three motor vehicles early Monday morning.

Lexington County Sheriff's deputies arrested a man accused of unlawfully entering three unlocked motor vehicles parked outside a Columbia-area apartment complex on Monday.
Keenan Erskine Sullivan, 22, of Columbia, is charged with three counts of breaking into a motor vehicle, the Lexington County Sheriff's Department said Tuesday.
Deputies said a resident saw Sullivan rummaging through vehicles at an apartment complex on Berryhill Road and called the sheriff's department.

Deputies responded to the call around 4:20 a.m. to find Sullivan inside a 2004 Chevy Malibu, looking for items to steal, the department said.
Sullivan is also accused of breaking into a 1989 Nissan pickup truck and 1998 Buick, both parked outside the same apartment complex.

Sullivan is being held at the Lexington County Detention Center while awaiting a bond hearing.
