Coroner Identifies Man Killed in Early Morning Wreck
A Cayce man was identified as the driver killed in a single-vehicle accident in Gaston.

The Lexington County Coroner’s Office released the name of a man killed in a single-vehicle accident in Gaston.
Robert Gerald Turner, 50, of Cayce, was driving southbound on Glenn Road around 3 a.m. Sunday morning when his vehicle left the roadway and hit a tree, Coroner Harry Harman said.
Turner, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was pronounced dead on the scene from the injuries he received, according to a release from the Coroner’s Office.

An autopsy will be scheduled to determine the cause of death.
The Lexington County Coroner’s Office and the South Carolina Highway Patrol is still investigating the accident.
