Coroner: Man Identified in Mobile Home Fire

The Lexington County Coroner has identified a man who died Wednesday night in a mobile home fire in Cayce.

Lexington County Coroner Harry O. Harman has identified a man who died in a mobile home fire Wednesday night in Cayce.

Robert T. Seymour, Jr., 50, a resident at a mobile home on Duncan Court in Cayce, died at the scene, according to Harmon.

An autopsy has been scheduled to determine the cause of death.

Fire crews with Cayce Public Safety responded to the fire that investigators say appears to have started in the den. Heavy smoke damage was found throughout the residence, according to a coroner’s office release.

The fire remains under investigation by the Lexington County Coroner’s Office and Cayce Public Safety.
