Council Holds Public Hearing on Off-Street Parking
Regular meeting to follow with discussion of an ordinance to allow permanent open air farmers' markets for produce only

A public hearing on reducing off-street parking will precede tonight's 7 p.m. Irmo Town Council meeting.
The hearing will focus on changing the parking regulations from one space per 200 square feet of gross interior space to one space per 300 square feet. The ordinance amendment is for offices and clinics of medical doctors, dentists, osteopathy and health care.
The meeting will take place in the Municipal Building, 7300 Woodrow St.

The regular meeting will immediately follow the public hearing where council members will take third and final reading of the zoning ordinance.
As part of its new business, the council will seek to approve a memorandum of understanding with Lexington County to provide off-duty support during this week’s Okra Strut Festival.
