Cromer Holds on to District 18 Seat
Voters keep Republican incumbent Sen. Ronnie Cromer.
Republican incumbent , of Prosperity, has beat out three challengers in the S.C. Senate District 18 race.
Results show Cromer with 83 percent of the votes. Cromer faces no Democratic opposition in the general election in November.
Cromer was up against three challengers — former WIS-TV reporter and anchor , former chair of the Lexington County Republican Party, , and , a retired engineer.

Meador wanted to run against District 23 Sen. Jake Knotts (R-West Columbia), but found out she was in Cromer's district after state House and Senate districts were redrawn.
Meador congratulated Cromer on the win in a message on her Twitter page.
