Update: Kranendonk Found Guilty, Sentenced to 10 Years

Richland County jury began deliberations today in Steven Kranendonk trial.

Update, 5:50 p.m.: Steven Kranendonk, an Irmo boater who was tried in a reckless homicide case this week, has been sentenced to 10 years in prison, according to a WIS-TV report

A jury found him guilty of two counts of reckless homicide.

Original, 2:52 p.m.: The deliberations in the reckless homicide trial of Steven Kranendonk began today, The State reports

Kranendonk, 26, is accused of crashing his boat into another on Lake Murray, killing two women. 

He faces up to 10 years in prison.
