Deputies Seek Help Identifying Suspect Wanted for Stolen Trailer
Police are searching for a suspect they say stole a trailer containing a variety of tools valued at $25,000.
Richland County deputies are searching for a suspect or suspects in connection to the larceny of a trailer in the Chapin area.
Police said between 12:30 and 1:30 a.m. on Dec. 15, an unknown suspect stole a black in color, with gold trim 6x12 enclosed v-nosed dual axle trailer from a parking lot on Racket Road (Forty Love Point).

Video surveillance, which can be viewed in the attached video, shows the suspect driving into the complex without a trailer and then leaving with the stolen trailer attached.
The vehicle is described as a white pick up truck with a black hood on the front of the vehicle, and a business-type emblem on the doors of the vehicle.

The trailer is valued at $3,000, and contained a variety of tools valued at $25,000.
