DEW Website Back Online After Defacement
The state unemployment agency's website, which was defaced this weekend, is back online after an image appeared on the home page stating the site had been hacked.

The website for the state's Department of Employment and Workforce is now back online after the site's home page was changed by a "malicious user."
The state unemployment agency's website, http://dew.sc.gov/, was taken offline Saturday night to remove what officials said was a "defacement."
A website defacement is an attack on a website that changes the visual appearance of the site or a web page.
