District 5 Adds New Hire to Public Information Office

Lexington-Richland School District 5 has hired Barrett Isbell as its new public information specialist. 

Isbell is a 2011 graduate of Anderson University, where he earned a degree in Communication with a concentration in Mass Media. He studied video production and news writing and has experience in customer relations, public relations, social media and communications.

His new role at the district includes: managing the district’s social media sites, communications and marketing duties, event planning and assisting with other duties in the Office of Public Information. 

“I feel honored to work for a district that has such a great reputation,” said Isbell. 

“I can’t wait to do my part to further enrich the exceptional education that the district already provides.”
