District 5 Board Meeting Postponed Due to Ballot Recount
The regular board meeting has been rescheduled for 7 p.m. Nov. 19.

Lexington-Richland 5's regular meeting scheduled for Monday, Nov. 12, has been postponed until after Richland County election results have been certified, according to school officials.
According to the meeting agenda, a swearing-in ceremony for recently elected board members was scheduled for 6 p.m. Monday.
The certification of results from the Nov. 6 election was originally set for Friday but a judge ordered all votes to be recounted after a lawsuit was filed in the House District 75 race between Democrat Joe McCulloch and Republican Kirkman Finlay.
