District 5 Cuts the Ribbon on Two Renovated Schools

Hundreds joined faculty and staff of Seven Oaks and Leaphart elementary schools to celebrate the new additions and renovations

Lexington-Richland 5 held two ribbon cutting ceremonies Friday morning to showcase the newly renovated Seven Oaks and Leaphart elementary schools.

The renovations were a part of a bond referendum that voters passed in 2008 for the district to renovate seven schools and construct three new schools.

At Seven Oaks, a new kindergarten wing was constructed and the administrative office got a new facelift among other renovations.
