A vote to approve a bid for a new school in Lexington-Richland 5 is scheduled for the board of trustees' meeting tonight at 7 p.m.
The new high school is part of the district's 2008 bond referendum that included .
District officials say the new school will open as a magnet school and will be located on the Spring Hill site. Students attending the magnet school will be required to earn certification in a career area as a standard for graduation.
