Dutch Fork Student Named Young Entrepreneur of the Year

A Dutch Fork High School senior has been recognized as the Young Entrepreneur of the Year for starting a shoe company for women and girls.

Sable Bowler, a senior at Dutch Fork High School, has been named the Young Entrepreneur of the Year by YEScarolina.

Bowler was selected based on the business model she designed called Unique Soles, according to a news release. 

Unique Soles is a specialty store that caters to women and girls who wear shoes size 11-14.

After market research, Bowler discovered there is a great demand for Unique Soles and has already been in contact with some manufactures and wholesalers from China concerning her shoe line, according to the release.

In November, Bowler will attend the YEScarolina Annual Gala and Youth Entrepreneurship Celebration in Charleston where she will present her business.

Bowler also receives a $250 award to continue her business.
