District 5 Education Foundation Community Celebration

The District 5 Foundation for Excellence is hosting a community celebration on Thursday at Saluda Shoals Park.

The event, which is the foundation's major fundraiser, will feature a silent and live auction. 

Items include an Edisto Beach vacation, a custom men's suit, a Lake Murray cruise aboard teh Southern Patriot, rocking chairs designed by Irmo High School students, and more. 

The event is scheduled for 6 p.m. Thursday at the River Center at Saluda Shoals Park. 

Tickets are $25 and include refreshments. All proceeds from the auction go to the foundation's initiatives.
