Sheriff Metts Trail of Treats

The 4th annual Sheriff Metts Trail of Treats will be between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Oct. 27.

Children 12 years old or younger will be able to collect free candy from Halloween-decorated vehicles parked at Wildcat Hollow Stadium on Ballpark Road near Lexington.

The Trail of Treats will feature entries from the sheriff’s department, other government agencies, businesses and community groups. 

Deputies with the Special Weapons and Tactics Team (SWAT) and K-9 Unit will conduct demonstrations during the event. 

Admission is $1 per child. Parents or legal guardians are asked to accompany children attending the event.

All proceeds from the Trail of Treats will be given to charitable causes.
