Filing Opens Friday for Vacant Irmo Council Seat
Filing opens at noon Friday, ends Jan. 3
If you're thinking about running for the open seat on Irmo Town Council, filing starts this Friday at noon.
A special election is being held on March 6 to fill Irmo Mayor Hardy King's vacant seat. The term for the seat ends Nov. 30, 2013.
Anyone interested in running as a candidate must pick up a filing packet from Town Hall, 7300 Woodrow Street, between 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
