Palmetto Health Foundation Walk for Life/5K Race for Life, 8:30 p.m. Saturday

The Palmetto Health Foundation Walk for Life/5K Race for Life will begin at 8:30 a.m. Saturday. Individuals may register for $30 for the Walk for Life on site at 7:30 a.m. in Finlay Park. The opening ceremony will begin at 8:15 a.m. and the Walk for Life begins promptly at 8:30 a.m. Runners for the 5K Race for Life can still register and pick up a shirt, chip and bib beginning at 7:30 a.m. for $35, payable by cash, check or credit card. Unearth: A Celebration of Naturally Inspired Art, 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday

Saluda Shoals Park will showcase visual, performing and literary arts during this annual celebration. There will be art demonstrations and instruction, poetry reading, musical and dance performances, and a songwriting competition. The event is free, but parking is $5. Lake Murray Cruises Sunset Dinner and Concert Cruise with Red Fraley, 6 p.m. Friday

Take a cruise around Lake Murray and enjoy a tasty menu and live music. A cash bar will be available for beer and wine.
