Four Arrested in Lexington County Armed Robbery
Police say cash, cigarettes and a cell phone stolen from drive through convenience store
Lexington County Sheriff’s Department detectives have arrested four people they say robbed a drive-through convenience store near Pelion on Monday.
The follwing were arrested and charged with armed robbery:
- Cornelius Octavis Cheeseboro, 18, of 625 N. Brown St., West Columbia;
- Joshua Shakeith Grantham, 19, of 2415 Gordon St., Columbia;
- Cory Tyrell McCoy, 19, of 401 Bushberry Road, Pelion; and
- Jasmine Shante Riley, 20, of 108-A State Pond Road, Gaston.
Detectives say about 9 a.m. Monday, the four suspects robbed two employees at gunpoint at Junior’s Drive Thru at 7463 Edmund Highway. They say the suspects stole $40 in cash, $40 worth of Newport cigarettes and a cellphone.

Cheeseboro and McCoy each are being held Wednesday at the Lexington County Detention Center on a $150,000 surety bond, Lexington County Sheriff James R. Metts said.
Grantham and Riley are awaiting bond hearings.
