Gaston Man Dies After Being Hit By Several Vehicles
The Lexington County Coroner's Office and the S.C. Highway Patrol are investigating the death of a man who was struck by several vehicles last Thursday.

The Lexington County Coroner’s Office and the South Carolina Highway Patrol are investigating the death of a 37-year-old man who died Monday, four days after being struck by several vehicles on a highway near Gaston.
Coroner Harry O. Harman identified the man as Christopher Hallas, 37, of Gaston.
The accident happened around 8:50 p.m. on March 1 at 5197 Highway 321 in Gaston.

Harman said Hallas was struck by several vehicles after he stepped into the roadway.
Hallas was flown by LifeNet to Palmetto Health Richland, where he died on March 5 from the injuries he received, according to a Coroner's Office release.

The accident remains under investigation by the Lexington County Coroner’s Office and the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
