See the cast perform the story of Sara Crews, a little girl that was born in India then sent to a London private school after her mother dies. Do you want to hear about the features of Irmo's new park? Council members are meeting at 10 a.m. in the Municipal Building at 7300 Woodrow Street to discuss it.
EdVenture Children’s Museum is offering a week of competitive games for kids in honor of the 2012 London Olympic Games. Activities are from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily. On Saturday, kids can participate in the high jump, long jump, basketball, the triathalon, and more. EdLympics is free with general admission to EdVenture.
Broad River and St. Andrews Communities Music Festival
If you want to hear some music from local Midlands acts, check out the first Broad River and St. Andrews Communities Music Festival. It's free and open to the public. The event starts at 3 p.m. and features music from Tokyo Joe, Terrence Young and Cheri Maree. There will be food vendors, games and kids activities. The event is at the new St. Andrews Park.
