High School Football

will play against Fort Mill at Chapin High School. The game starts at 7:30 p.m.

Bank of America and Merrill Lynch’s 
Museums on Us

Bank of America is offering its cardholders free admission to EdVenture Children’s Museum in Columbia this Saturday and Sunday (9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Noon to 5 p.m. Sunday). Photo ID and a valid Bank of America/Merrill Lynch credit or debit card must be presented to enter. Saturday through Monday

Chapin Labor Day Festival

Celebrate Labor Day at the Chapin Labor Day Festival. The three-day event starts with a 5k and ends with a day filled with a parade, Chapin Idol, food and more. 

Walk or Run a Crooked 5K

To kick off the Labor Day festivities, runners and walkers can participate in the 5k at Crooked Creek Park. Registration is at 7 a.m. and the race starts at 8 a.m. There is a $30 fee for the 5k race and $20 for walkers. The Kids Fun Run is free.
