Get Out: Irmo Middle Meet & Greet, Chapin Football, Kids Fest & More

School is back in session and the Irmo Middle School Parent Teacher Student Organization is inviting you to meet the school's new administration. The event will be held at Chick-fil-A on Harbison Boulevard.

Friday

Chapin High School will play its first home game against Batesburg-Leesville at 7:30 p.m. 

Saturday

If you like bourbon, beer and barbecue, head over to Lexington for the Brewskis, Bourbon 7 Butts on Butler event. Patch will be there so stop by for some goodies. 

The Lexington Medical Center Foundation’s Women of Hope will host “Wine on the River” at the West Columbia Riverwalk Saturday. Proceeds benefit the Cancer Care Fund. Tickets are $25 each in advance and $35 at the entrance.

Anchor Lanes is having a free Kids' fest and Bowling Blast-off! Guests get two free games of bowling and shoe rental. The event featurs fire trucks from Irmo Fire District, raffles, games, pin decorating, give-a-ways, contests and booths from local businesses.
