Get Out: 'The Lorax,' Belk Fashion Show & More

Head to  with the family, a lawn chair or picnic blanket, and enjoy a showing of "The Lorax." The movie begins at dark. Concessions will be available. 

Stop by Belk inside Columbiana Saturday for Southern Fashion 101. The back-to-school fashion show will display the latest styles for kids and teens. Patch will also be there. Stop by our table and get a free Patch bag! 

Dutch Fork High 5K 

You can still sign up today for Dutch Fork High School's Silver Fox 5K trail run that will be held at Saturday. The race starts at 8 a.m.

Does your car need to be washed? Why not help out a cheerleading program by getting your car washed at their fundraiser at CrossRoads Middle School. 

31st Annual Peanut Party

Head down to the Pelion Community Center at 951 Pine Street in Pelion either today from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. or Saturday from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. The party features amusement rides, a book sale, a dog show, local entertainment, a peanut butter and jelly sandwich eating contest and more.
