Original story, 2:32 p.m. Feb. 14: High school basketball playoffs are under way with the Class 4A round starting tonight.
The complete brackets are to the right. Here's a schedule of the local teams:
Today
- Dutch Fork girls play at home at 7 p.m. against Lancaster. If the Silver Foxes win, they would face either J L Mann or T L Hanna.
- Irmo girls travel to Goose Creek for their 7 p.m. game. If the Yellow Jackets win, they would face either Lexington or Ashley Ridge.
The winners of the games will advance to the next round scheduled for 7 p.m. Friday.
Wednesday
- Irmo boys play against Northwestern at home at 7 p.m. If the team wins, they would play either Hillcrest or Laurens.
- Dutch Fork boys will travel to Wando. If Dutch Fork wins, the team faces either Orangeburg-Wilkinson or Beaufort.
The winners of the games will advance to the next round scheduled for 7 p.m. Saturday.
