Update: Dutch Fork Advances on Road to State Title, Irmo Out

Dutch Fork High School's Lady Foxes advances to the next round of the Class 4A State Championship.

Dutch Fork beat Lancaster, 69-34, last night at home.

The team will play J L Mann at 7 p.m. Friday. 

Irmo High's girls basketball team lost its game, 50-34, Tuesday night against Goose Creek.

The boys teams for both Irmo and Dutch Fork will play tonight at 7 p.m.

Original story, 2:32 p.m. Feb. 14: High school basketball playoffs are under way with the Class 4A round starting tonight.

Today

• Dutch Fork girls play at home at 7 p.m. against Lancaster. If the Silver Foxes win, they would face either J L Mann or T L Hanna.
• Irmo girls travel to Goose Creek for their 7 p.m. game. If the Yellow Jackets win, they would face either Lexington or Ashley Ridge.

The winners of the games will advance to the next round scheduled for 7 p.m. Friday.

Wednesday

• Irmo boys play against Northwestern at home at 7 p.m. If the team wins, they would play either Hillcrest or Laurens.
• Dutch Fork boys will travel to Wando. If Dutch Fork wins, the team faces either Orangeburg-Wilkinson or Beaufort.

The winners of the games will advance to the next round scheduled for 7 p.m. Saturday.
