In-Vest USA, Cici's Pizza Partner to Raise Funds for Vests

In-Vest USA and three Cici's Pizza locations in the Midlands have partnered together to raise funds to help keep law enforcement officers safe. 

From 5 to 8 p.m. today, stop by a CiCi's Pizza location and a percentage of your purchase will go to In-Vest USA to purchase bulletproof vests for officers.

CiCi's Pizza is donating 10 percent of the proceeds. 

Participating locations are:

• 715 Fashion Drive, Columbia
• 6120 St. Andrews Road, Columbia
• 141 Pelham Drive, Columbia

In-Vest USA is a national nonprofit organization based in Columbia that raises funds to equip law enforcement officers with life-saving body armor.

"The men and women of law enforcement have dangerous jobs," Michael Letts, founder and president In-Vest USA, said in a release. "They operate in an environment where even a routine call can turn tragic, and we shouldn't be willing to let them hit the streets without the one piece of equipment that could mean the difference between life and death."
