Irmo Chamber Seeks Young Professionals

If you're a young professional looking to meet others just like you in the area, then the DoubleTree by Hilton is where you want to be on Tuesday.

The is inviting young professionals between the ages of 21-45 to its Irmo Young Professionals (iYP) kickoff celebration.

The event begins at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday at the DoubleTree by Hilton, 2100 Bush River Rd., Columbia. Snacks will be provided and a cash bar will be available.

Tiffany Boyce, Irmo Chamber's president and chief executive officer, said the kickoff is open to any professional in and around Irmo.

You do not have to be a member of the Greater Irmo Chamber of Commerce to participate in the group.

Boyce said the purpose of the Irmo Young Professionals group is to provide an opportunity for professionals to network, to help one another and to give back to the community.
