Irmo Defeats Goose Creek, 65-46, To Finish Perfect Season
The Yellow Jackets take home a win tonight against Goose Creek in the state final.
Once Irmo High scored its first four points of their game against the Goose Creek Gators, it was no looking back for the Yellow Jackets.

Seniors Justin McKie and Detrek Browning helped Irmo score and take the lead — one the Yellow Jackets never let go of.
At the half, Irmo was leading 28-14. The Gators continued to struggle and by the fourth quarter, the Yellow Jackets were up 18 points.
The Yellow Jackets — ranked No. 21 in the nation and No. 1 in the state —closed out a perfect season with a record of 29-0.
McKie, who will play at the University of South Carolina, led the team with 20 points. Browning had 16 points.
