Both Irmo and Dutch Fork high schools defeated their opponents in the first round of Class 4A football.
Update: The Yellow Jackets and the Silver Foxes are both heading to the second round of Class 4A playoffs.
Irmo High defeated Ridge View High 7-0.
Dutch Fork continues its winning streak after beating Hillcrest 49-21.

The Silver Foxes record is 8-3.
Both Irmo and Dutch Fork were named region champs last Friday.
If Irmo (third seed) wins, the team will play either Wando or White Knoll.
If Dutch Fork, seeded second, wins the team plays either Blythewood or Boiling Springs.
