Irmo High School B-Team Baseball Undefeated in Region Play
The Yellowjackets have won 3 straight after Going 0-4 in Pre-Season play
Coach Greg Fuhr’s Irmo B-Team has rallied back from an 0-4 start to sit atop the Region Standings at 3-0, with recent wins against Richland Northeast and Ridgeview.
Newcomers: Robby Barnhardt, Brayden Cosola, Edward Salmon, Riley Kelso, Andre Kinlaw, Marley Salas, Jay Brusin, Cooper Wilhelm and Luke Sevilla, have complimented B team returners: Hart Masincupp, Joshua Jackson, Noah Collins and Braylon Graham – who also play JV and/or Varsity, as well as Greyson Turner, Jay Matthews, Jack Richards and Lucas Mack, this year, strengthening Coach Fuhr’s team at the plate and in the field.
Noteworthy, IMS 8th Grader, Marley Salas, has worked exceptionally hard the past year to make this year’s team, earning a spot in the starting lineup and nearly leading the team in batting average, often coming through in the clinch with clutch hits.
