Irmo Man Arrested for Burglarizing Local Businesses

Irmo Police arrested a man for allegedly stealing items from a Salvation Army Church and Nature Works.

Dwayne Johnson, 39, of Wychwood Road in Irmo, was arrested Tuesday and charged with burglary.

Both businesses, which are located on Irmo Drive, reported someone breaking into a window and stealing several items.

According to an incident report, a Cannon copier, Dell hard drive, two folding knives and a stun gun was stole from Salvation Army. A Bose wave radio/cd player, loose change and wooden display case was stolen from Nature Works.
