An Irmo man died Wednesday morning after the motorcycle he was operating collided with a deer.Jonathan J. McNaughton, 31, was riding a motorcycle around 9:45 p.m. Tuesday in the 3100 block of Kennerly Road near Thelma Hicks Road when a deer jumped into his path, Richland County Coroner Gary Watts said.McNaughton died at 4:10 a.m. Wednesday at Palmetto Richland Memorial Hospital from trauma caused by the crash.The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating.
