Irmo Motocycle Shop Owner Arrested for Operating Without Sales License
The owner of Gotham City Cycles was charged Thursday with one count of operating without a retail license.

Investigators with the S.C. Department of Revenue have charged the owner of a motorcycle sales and service shop in Irmo with operating without a state retail sales license.
John David Frye II, the owner of Gotham City Cycles, was charged Thursday with one count of operating without a retail license.
Frye, 45, is accused of continuing to operate the business after the Department of Revenue revoked his retail license

Frye's retail license was revoked in September for failing to pay state sales tax, according to the department.
If convicted, Frye faces up to 30 days in jail and/or $200 in fines.

Frye is currently being held at the Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center pending a bond hearing.
