Irmo Police Arrest 2 in Home Burglary

Irmo Police arrested two people they say stole a gaming system and video games from a home in the Cornerstone of Irmo neighborhood on Monday.

Police say the homeowners notified authorities of the break-in after they found a window in the rear of the home had been broken and a sliding glass door was left open Monday afternoon.

While searching the area, officers saw two males with an Xbox and video games, according to a release.
An officer on the scene confirmed the serial number of Xbox in the
possession of the two men with the original packing box located in the
house, the release said.

Benson is being held at the Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center. The juvenile has been released to the custody of his parents.
The investigation is ongoing, the department said.
