Irmo Police Chief Brian Buck Returns to Job After 4-Day Suspension
The reason for the suspension could not be released because it is a personnel matter, town administrator Bob Brown said.

The head of Irmo's police department was suspended for four days and has since returned to work, town administrator Bob Brown said Tuesday.
Buck has been suspended since Wednesday, March 13, and resumed his duty as police chief today, Brown said.

Brown did say the violation was "nothing serious."
According to town records requested by Patch last summer, Buck earns an annual salary of $69,526.08.
