Irmo Police Continue Search for Bank Robber

Officers need help locating a man who robbed the AllSouth Credit Union on Woodrow Street in Irmo on Aug. 16.

The suspect of a summer bank robbery in Irmo is still being sought by the Irmo Police Department. 

Police need the community's help in identifying a man who robbed the AllSouth Credit Union at 7454 Woodrow Street in Irmo on Aug. 16.

Officers said a black male, armed with a small pistol, entered the credit union and demanded money from one of the tellers.

The suspect fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The suspect is described as a black male in his mid-30s, 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighs 200 pounds.
