Justin McKie, Alaina Coates Nominated for McDonald's All-American Game
Basketball standouts at Irmo and Dutch Fork high schools were nominated to play in the game scheduled for April 3 at Chicago's United Center.

Two student athletes in Lexington-Richland 5 have been nominated to play in the McDonald's All-American games.
Irmo High's Justin McKie and Dutch Fork's Alaina Coates are among 20 athletes in South Carolina considered to play in the 2013 games scheduled for April 3 at Chicago's United Center.
More than 800 players from 39 states and the District of Columbia were nominated for the games, according to a release. Players were nominated by high school coaches, athletic directors, principals and members of the McDonald’s All American Games Selection Committee.

The final roster of 24 boys and 24 girls will be announced during the McDonald’s All American Games Selection Show on ESPNU on Feb. 14 at 5 p.m.
