Kenneth Shuler Students Win at State Competition

Kenneth Shuler Schools of Cosmetology students brought home 26 of the 33 trophies awarded at the bi-annual S.C. Association of Cosmetology Schools competition. 

The event was held at the DoubleTree by Hilton hotel on Bush River Road in Columbia on Monday, February 18.

Cosmetology students from across the state competed against each other in a variety of divisions that tested their technical skills and ability to perform exemplary beauty services under extreme time restraints.  The competition included divisions such as male haircutting, female haircutting, braiding, nail design and bridal up-do’s.  There were also several team competitions.
