Letter: Happy 'Full of Wonder' Day
Dr. Jed N. Snyder, president of Jesus Every Day Ministries, Inc., talks about the "wonders" of life.

Have you heard, “Isn’t it a wonderful day?” or “that was wonderful apple pie,” or “that was a wonderful selection of plays that won that football game?” Many words in the English language have lost their meaning.
“Full of wonder” is what the word actually means but that does give us the impact of the word until we consider what “wonder” actually means. What meaning does “wonder” carry? Let me suggest that it means “incomprehensible, extra-ordinarily powerful, beyond normal conception.”

We can be simple and say “a wonder” is something that we humans cannot do. We can’t “walk on water,” or “raise Lazarus from the dead.” We are not smart enough to figure out our bodies, to say nothing of the universe. But the “wonder” is that God designed and deployed it all with just a simple word from his mouth. We have been “discovering” what he designed ever since Adam and Eve were given the Garden of Eden to be their original home.
The Bible begins with a “wonder.”

In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. Genesis 1:1
The Bible ends with a “wonder.”
“Behold, I am coming soon, bringing my recompense with me, to repay everyone for what he has done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end.” Revelation 22:12-13
So as you go about your daily life, will you remember the “wonder” of all that God is and all that he has made.
I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well.” Psalm 139:14
I hope you will look for all those “wonders” today.
Happy “full of wonder” day to you.
