Lexington-Richland 5 Candidate Forums Set for October
The Lexington-Richland 5 Teacher Forum and School Improvement Councils have organized three non-partisan public forums in October.

Six candidates are running for Lexington-Richland 5 school board on Nov. 6.
To help you make an informed decision, three candidate forums will be held in October.
The candidate forums are scheduled for 6:30 p.m. on the following dates:

- Thursday, Oct. 4, at Irmo Middle School
- Tuesday, Oct. 9, at Chapin Middle School
- Tuesday, Oct. 16, at Ballentine Elementary School
Voters will elect two candidates in Lexington County and one candidate in Richland County.
Lexington County candidates are: Jan Hammond (incumbent), Jondy Loveless, Beth Burn Watson (incumbent) and Ed Yates.

Richland County candidates are: Melissa Cole and Robert Gantt (incumbent).
Candidates will not answer questions from the audience. The public can submit questions for candidates in advance by emailing D5CandidatesForum2012@gmail.com.
Guests can submit questions in writing at the door, prior to each forum.
