Man Dies After Vehicle Hits Utility Pole
Lexington County Coroner identifies Lexington man killed after single-car wreck Tuesday morning.

A 56-year-old Lexington man has been identified in the single-car accident at the intersection of Highway 6 and Bethany Church Road in Lexington Tuesday morning.
James Ellis Yancey, who was identified by Coroner Harry O. Harman, was driving a 1984 Ford when he left the roadway and hit a utility pole.
Yancey was transported to Lexington Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.

An autopsy will be performed Wednesday by Pathology Associates of Lexington to determine the cause and manner of death, according to the Coroner’s Office.
The accident remains under investigation by the Lexington County Coroner’s Office and the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
