Man Involved in Prostitution Ring with Minors Convicted on Sex Charges

A Lexington County man has been convicted on sex charges in connection with a prostitution ring involving minors, according to reports.
Michael Roscoe, 37, was sentenced Thursday to 16 years in prison for criminal sexual conduct with a minor and eight years for promoting prostitution of minors, according to a report in The State.
Lexington County Sheriff's deputies arrested Roscoe in 2007, according to the report. The victims involved in the prostitution ring were 15 and 17 years old when he was arrested. Deputies say they were forced into sex acts with Roscoe and other people in exchange for money or drugs.
