The Lexington County Multi-Agency Narcotics Enforcement Team (NET) is seeking the public’s help in identifying the person or persons who were growing marijuana in woods near an unoccupied home off Wessinger Road near Chapin.
The seven marijuana plants, which NET officers seized on Sept. 19 after an officer recieved a tip, ranged in height from 5 feet to 7 feet tall and have a street value of about $7,000, according to a press release issued on Tuesday by the Lexington County Sheriff’s Department.
