New, Used Books Needed for Benefit Book Sale
Need to get rid of all those books you no longer read? Donate them to the Lexington County Sheriff's Department book sale.

The Lexington County Sheriff’s Department is accepting donations of new and used books for an upcoming book sale to benefit the United Way.
Donations of hardcover and paperback books can be made at the Lexington County James R. Metts Law Enforcement Complex, 521 Gibson Road, Lexington.
All varieties of books will be accepted for the book sale, which is scheduled for Aug. 24-25.

Lexington County Detective Sandy Black will coordinate the book sale for the sheriff’s department.
Citizens who want to donate books can contact Black at her office at 803-785-2533.
