If convicted, Kibler faces up to 10 years in jail.

The 16-year-old was taken to the S.C. Department of Juvenile Justice in Columbia where she will be held until a detention hearing is arranged through the Family Court of South Carolina, the sheriff's office said.

Sheriff Lee Foster said that they will seek restitution for the manpower, equipment, and other costs associated with the response to the incident.

“It is not fair for the taxpayer to be forced to pay for the wrong doing of another so whenever possible we seek restitution for the costs associated with such an event,” Foster said in the release.

More arrests could be made, he said.
